  • Where are you located?
Order pick up is available in Port Hope - an address is provided once the order has been placed. I also offer delivery. See the "DELIVERY" page in the shop for more details.
  • Is everything gluten free/vegan?
I do offer a large variety of gluten free and vegan options. Some of my products contain wheat, dairy and eggs. See the "gluten free/vegan" pages in the SHOP.
  • How should I transport the cake I just picked up?
It's very important to keep your cake completely flat. Never transport your cake on a car seat. Place the cake either on the floor of the passenger seat (make sure the heat is not blowing towards the cake), or in the trunk (make sure it can't slide around).
  • Should I keep my cake in the fridge?
Yes, cakes love being chilled! This helps to keep the buttercream nice and firm, which provides stability to the cake. This is especially important with vegan cakes, because vegan frosting is fairly soft. Refrigerate the cake, and then remove it from the fridge an hour or two before serving. Store any leftovers in the fridge. If you have leftovers and would like to store it for a while, wrap individual slices in plastic wrap and keep in the freezer for up to a couple of months.
  • How much notice do you require for an order?
Please give minimum one week notice for cake orders, and 5 days notice for all other items. However, the more notice - the better!
  • Can I order an item I don't see in the store?
Visit the CONTACT page, or email me at magicovenbake@gmail.com, send me details on the item you'd like, and I will let you know if I can accommodate!
  • Is there anywhere else I can find your products?
Yes! I supply to a store Downtown cobourg - called Change Makers Refillery. Every day you can find an assortment of my vegan baked goods there, as well as gluten free vegan options. Please visit their social media or website for store hours, address, and other info. I am also a vendor at the Millbrook Farmers Market, which is held at 47 Tupper St, Millbrook on the 4th Sunday of each month from April - October, as well as the holiday market in November. Occasionally I am also there for the extra summer markets, which are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from June - September, please reach out to me if you'd like to find out if I will be there for those dates, as it fluctuates from season to season.
